A little family outing to Jericho Beach. We enjoyed a sunset dinner on the patio of the sailing club. Afterwards we found many bunnies running wild around the beach. Oria followed the bunnies around for a bit before hitting the beach for some sand in her hands.
My sandy little girl,
Loving on the beach today. All the dogs, digs and bury me’s!
A break from our adventures following papa around with water, gels and snacks while he ran himself a marathon!
My little sand angel.
We had a lovely afternoon at Spanish Banks low tide with the dog and the family. Oria enjoyed finding shells and using them as shovels and making sand angels.
We even spotted a starfish right in the middle of beach.
It was a beautiful family day spent at the beach.
How to Play Bucket Head with Your Dad
by Oria Adams
First you lay your dad down in the water so he can’t escape.
Next you take your bucket and fill it with water.
Dump bucket over dad’s head and adjust.
Looked like fun so do it to yourself.
Repeat if desired.
Beach. Boots. Buckets. Baby. Fenway.
Low tide at Spanish Banks on a rainy Saturday in June makes for one happy running dog, and an active one and a half year old. Lots of tide pools for wading in and shells and sand to collect in a little red bucket.
Beach picnic. Today we rode 40 km. we finished our afternoon with a trip to Jericho beach. The nice thing about Vancouver beaches on an overcast Wednesday in June is that they are empty. You have all that sand to yourself!!!
A mothers day to remember. Here are a few of my favourite pictures from the day we had!
Crepes and coffee for breakfast. A walk through the endowment lands with Fenway. A hair cut. And an epic bike ride around Stanley Park, beer on patio, and picnic in the park, all of this with two of my favourite people.
I’m so lucky.
Oria brightens each day, and its a pleasure to spend my days with her finding new adventures to share together. Being a mom is a privilege I’ve been blessed with. You never know what this roller coaster ride of parenthood will bring, but I do know one thing for sure, I’ll end up with a smile on my face at some point during the day.
Happy mothers day to all the lovely mothers out there, including my mother in law Rosarie!
