Daily adventures of a city Mom living in Vancouver. We like to keep busy and take advantage of the beautiful city we live in.
I'm Nicole and I have my 2 year old Oria, who became a big sister to little sister Arrow Rose, born June 26, 2013. We're big on cycling our way about Vancouver and anywhere else we travel too. Now you can find me navigating daily life with two littles.

Oria attended her first dance class this morning. She was so excited to go, but it took her most of the class to warm up to the idea of someone directing the class and her hands were glued inside her mouth (never seen that before) but once she started moving she had a blast. Sadly there was only 1 other girl in the class so it wasn’t the most social outing like I had hoped it would be. We will go again and hope more kids will join.
Oria had alot of visitors yesterday. Her cousin Olivia and bestie Abby came by for some bed bouncing and marker makeup. These two bouncing on the bed remind me so much of my cousin Cindy (Olivia’s mom) and I at this age, maybe a little older and doing the same thing.
What a social morning today turned out to be. We were walking to the library for story time and ran into our regular story time buddies on the way. Then we played in the park afterwards and ran into some more friends.
The sun was shining on Main Street today and Oria was in a friendly sociable mood.
The librarian read a Pete the Cat book, pleased Oria, plus she plays the ukulele and sang Sleeping Bunnies. Perfect morning for us!
Well our friend Sushi didn’t make it. Easter festivities did him in. So today Oria and ventured into Kitsilano to find ourselves Sushi 2.0. We rode a couple of busses, we stopped into the post office and Oria picked out a couple of cards while I mailed a few things (those are the cards above she picked out), and we went and picked ourselves a very pretty peacock coloured fighting fish.
